Club Teams for KZN Closed Champs

 

Exco are trying to make the Closed Champs more than just a regular league. One of the ways we are trying to do this is the club teams, we hope this will be a fun challenge for the shooters to enjoy! We appreciate your patience while we figure out the specifics on our first run.

 

This is how it will work:

 

Each club selects a single, mixed team of their best shooters – 1 from each of the following 4 divisions:

 

• Production
• Standard
• Production Optics
• Open/Optics/PCC (combined due to the smaller numbers of shooters)

 

The shooters can be from any category and any grade.

 

You may substitute the following divisions if your club does not have shooters in some divisions:

• Production can shoot in Standard
• Production can shoot in Production Optics
• Production Optics, Optics or PCC can shoot in Open

Smaller clubs may combine to get a team together

 

Your club secretary/chairman will submit your team to me directly.

 

Team shooters will still shoot as individuals in their respective divisions and those division rules will still apply as per usual. You will still enter your usual division regardless of your position on your club team.

 

 

We will take the combined scores to determine the winning club. The winners will get medals at the annual prize giving plus free entry to the first league of 2026 courtesy of Midlands Club.

We think this will be a fun addition, so speak with your fellow club members and your chairman and get your team together! If you have club shirts it would be nice to see your teams in their shirts.
